Your Nutrition and Health Coach

About Me

 

Hello,  I'm Jeannette, recently transitioned from a 30-year career in Information Technology to a career as a qualified Professional Nutrition and Health Coach. 


For as long as I can remember, I have had a very keen interest in health and the impact of diet on well-being, and throughout this time successfully addressed several personal health issues, through a  combination of education, research, and lifestyle and diet modifications. 


Throughout my IT career, I used my strong  aptitude for problem-solving, driven by a deep curiosity about how  systems function and a desire to identify and rectify the root causes of  issues.  


My studies alone have covered a number of areas, delving into subjects such as: 

  • nutrition and malnutrition
  • understanding autism 
  • pain management
  • alcohol and human health 
  • breast cancer screening 
  • acute trauma and recovery 
  • COPD


In 2023 I qualified as a Professional Nutrition and Health Coach with the IINH ( International Institute of Nutrition & Health).  I am  now dedicated to helping individuals achieve their own health goals and  enhance their overall well-being through diet and lifestyle changes.  My scope of practice can be found on the UKIHCA website.


My approach is science-led, evidence-based and  individualised, recognising the unique needs and life circumstances of each person. I focus on implementing sustainable lifestyle and dietary changes that address the underlying factors influencing health, guiding my clients towards lasting improvements in their quality of life.


I work with all age groups and particularly with people who are struggling with the ailments that seem to be so prevalent in today's society: type II diabetes, weight issues, Long Covid, anxiety, depression, chronic inflammation, unexplained aches and pains, allergies, skin conditions, to name a few.
